Job Description:
As a Teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students in their study of English language and literature. You will support pupils’ development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while encouraging creativity and critical thinking.
Skills and Qualifications:
– A strong command of the English language with an enthusiasm for teaching
– Ability to plan effective lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 learners
– Good communication skills with both students and colleagues
– Willingness to learn new teaching methods and adapt as needed
– Basic understanding or willingness to develop knowledge of curriculum requirements for Key Stage 3
– Relevant qualifications in Education or English are desirable but not essential
